AI screening for IT hiring
AI resume and phone screening for IT and software hiring
Tech openings bring in hundreds of CVs that all list the same languages and frameworks. HR Mitra checks each one for the skills your role needs, with the lines from the CV that show them, then asks shortlisted developers technical questions written from your JD and their CV.
How AI screening for IT hiring works
- 1
Add the tech opening
Upload the job description. HR Mitra fills in the opening and reads out the skills, the years of experience, the location and any certifications, each marked required or preferred, for you to check.
- 2
Upload the developer CVs
Up to 100 PDF or .docx files at a time, from Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals or your inbox.
- 3
Skills checked against the work
Every requirement is matched with a quote from the CV. Projects count as evidence, and years of experience are added up from the dates of the roles that used the skill.
- 4
A technical phone screen
Developers who pass get a 10-minute AI phone screen in their browser: three questions on the skills the role needs and one scenario from the job, written for them.
What it does for you
Past the keyword list
A CV that lists Kubernetes is not a CV that shows Kubernetes. Each match quotes the line that proves it, so you see which is which.
Years that add up
"4 years of Java" is counted from the dated roles where Java was used, not from the total length of the career.
Certifications held, not implied
A required certification matches only where the CV claims it. Years of cloud work are not the certificate.
Technical questions without an engineer
You do not need a developer on every first call. The AI asks the questions, and you get the recording, the transcript and a score with its reasons.
