Terms of Service

These terms apply when you create an HR Mitra account or use the service. By signing up you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use HR Mitra for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

HR Mitra reads job descriptions and CVs, compares each CV with the job, recommends whether to take the candidate forward, writes pre-screen questions, and can hold a short recorded AI voice interview with a candidate. It assists; it does not decide. AI can be wrong, so check its recommendations before acting on them. Hiring decisions, and their consequences, are yours.

• Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

When you upload CVs or send interview links, you confirm that:

• you obtained the CVs lawfully, for a real opening, and may use them for hiring;
• candidates know their data may be screened with the help of AI;
• you will use the results only for hiring, and never to discriminate on grounds such as gender, religion, caste, age, disability or marital status.

You remain responsible for that data as the party collecting it. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Do not:

• upload anything unlawful, or data you have no right to use;
• try to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service;
• get around the free plan's limits, for example with extra accounts;
• resell the service without our written agreement.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why.

The free plan and paid options are described on our pricing section. Prices are in Indian rupees and may change; a change never applies to something you have already paid for. Paid plans are one-off purchases that never renew by themselves and are not refunded: see Refunds.

Your job descriptions, candidate data and decisions stay yours. You give us permission to process them only to run HR Mitra for you. The HR Mitra software, brand and design are ours.

We work to keep HR Mitra available and correct, but provide it “as is”, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or hiring decisions made using the service, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You can stop using HR Mitra at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end the service with 30 days' notice, or straight away for a serious breach of these terms.

We will tell you before material changes to these terms take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
